The Indian and the Buffalo

THE INDIAN AND THE BUFFALO

A Native American walks into a café with a shotgun in one hand.  His other hand is pulling a rope tied to a male buffalo.  He says to the waiter, "Want coffee."

The waiter replies, "Sure, chief.  Coming right up."

He gets the Native American a tall mug of coffee.  The Native American drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns, and shoots the buffalo with the shotgun.  Parts of the buffalo splatter everywhere, but the Native American doesn't care.  He simply walks out of the café.

The next morning the Native American returns.  He has his shotgun in one hand and once again, he pulls a male buffalo with the other.  He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter, "Want coffee."

The waiter says, "Whoa!  We're still cleaning up the mess you made yesterday.  What was that all about, anyway?"

The Native American smiles and proudly says, "Training for position in United States Congress:  Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, disappear for rest of day."
