RETIRED POLICE OFFICER

I am a retired police officer.

I will never sit with my back to the door.

I will never leave home without my weapon.

I will never quit watching out for you - yes, the people I know and the people I do not know.

I am always watching, scanning, making sure, to the best of my ability, that everyone, everywhere I go, is safe.

I am always ready to act on your behalf, whether I know you or not.

I might be retired, but my oath has no expiration date.

I will always back any good law enforcement officer in any way I can.

It was never just a job - it was a calling.
